Create Plex Account Request Movies / Series

Plex is the front-end software I use to display and manage all of the files on my media server.

    Create a Plex account Sign up using your email address here: Plex Sign-Up
  2. 2
    Send me your Plex email Send me the email address you used for your Plex account so I can add you to the server.

    Accept the invite Once added, Plex will email you an invite. Open the email and accept to add my media server to your plex account.
  4. 4
    Start watching Log in to Plex on your Smart TV, phone, console, computer, app or browser and start watching.
Plex mobile apps may require a Plex app unlock or Plex Pass depending on how you use them, on some devices Plex charges a one time fee to use them. This is handled by Plex, not by me. Smart TV, desktop and browser access are usually the easiest options and free to use Plex.

Request Movies & Series

Use Overseerr to request films and TV shows you want added to the server.

    Open Overseerr Log in using your Plex account here: Open Overseerr
  2. 2
    Search for something Search for the movie or series you want, or browse what is popular, trending or upcoming.
  3. 3
    Press Request Click the title, press Request, then confirm the request on the popup. Leave the settings as default.
  4. 4
    Wait for it to be added Most requests will start automatically. If something needs approval, I will review it and add it when possible.
Overseerr can also show movies and series that have not been released yet. You can still request them now, and once they become available they should automatically be added to the server where possible.
Only Plex accounts that have already been added to the server will be able to log in to Overseerr.
